I live in San Diego and we have horrible roads and I was wondering how much punishment before a car looses its comfort, and handling preformance and what maintenacne can I do to maintain comfort and preformance in my suspension system?

100000 miles and the shocks should be changed no matter how rough the roads as they loose their durability after a while. shocks will make the vehicle a little stiffer if your used to worn out shocks but it wont bounce as much when a bump is hit.

if your looking for comfort you may want to install a air ride system. it will be expensive.
