1996 Other Oldsmobile Models 1996 Olds 88 3.8l Pinging

Hello,
I just purchased a 1996 Olds 88LS. It has 90k on the engine. It was pinging under the slightest load. I replaced plugs, wires, pcv, and cleaned the egr valve. The check engine light was on. It had a 0442 and 1870 code. I found a vacuum line that was unplugged, fixed it. I took the ground off the battery while I was working on it. Now, no engine light, but it still pings.

Help, any ideas?

im not that up on a 3.8 but it may need the valves adjusted.if there not adjustable,it may be the quality of gas. i hope ive helped! please reply back.
