96 olds ciera 175,000 v6 some one was in my husbands lane and he ran off the road into a ditch slightly and upon correcting himself and getting back on the road the ceck engine light came on and stays on, And there is a ribbed hose looking thing dangling with a smaller ribbed hose branching off and dragging on the ground. Both have wires inside. Common sense makes me think this is a miring harness, am I right? What is this and will remounting it myself fix the problem? Thank you for any help
