1993 Other Oldsmobile Models Oil pressure gage is low

1993 Other Oldsmobile Models Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200980 miles

I have a 1993 oldsmobile achiva. 2.3 liter. Has 200980 miles. I have noticed that the oil pressure gauge is running on the low side. I have checked the oil and it has enough in it. What could this be???

Hi there,

Have the oil pressure tested with a master gauge, this will give a true reading of the pressure, you may just have a faulty sender, do this first.
