1993 Other Oldsmobile Models Front Wheel Drive Automatic 65000 miles

My oil gauge stays at 80 and higher when I drive, when I let the foot off the gas it stays around 40 what could hat be the guy I bought it from says it nothing to worry about . I have no one too look at it . Thats right I'm female

the guy you bought it from was right!thats execelent oil pressure.as long as it stays that way ittl last 4ever! just keep the oil changed,thats the life of an engine! dunc
