1992 Other Oldsmobile Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic ? miles

i bought a 92 cutlass surpeme conv yesterday. found out it has little oil pressure while driving it and a bad engine knock. i didnt hear it at idle.but anyways i can get my hands on a 3800 series pontaic engine will it fit in my car

As long as the engine in your car is a 3.8L motor. If it's a 3.1 then it would fit bu t all the engine dress (power steering, ac, alternator ) would be different and maybe not fit. Also the ocmputer you have would be for a 3.1L and not a 3.8 as they are differntly programmed.....
