1992 Other Oldsmobile Models belt tentioner

when I give car a little gas and release the tentioner hangs up and makes a clicking noise not sure if it's pulley or tentioner assembly

if it does that, the beraing is going bad. The tensioner comes as an assembly and is fairly easy to replace. You may as well change the belt too and if you forget how it goes (belt) , go to popular site links on 2carpros here and you can find a diagram ofit here under belt routing diagrams.
