1987 Other Oldsmobile Models feul pump fuse

We have a 1987 olds delta 88 and kepts blowning the fuse when pressure biulds where to look first.We disconected it at the tank and fuse is okay plug it in nd fuse blows. Thanks Jon

IF IT ONLY BLOWS WHEN THE TANK IS PLUGGED IN THEN YOUR PROBLEM IS IN THE TANK, OR THE GRAY WIRE ON THE SENDING UNIT IS SHORTED ON TOP OF THE TANK.
