THE CAR WOULD CRANK AND CRANK TO START SO I DID A PRESSURE TEST ON THE FUEL LINE AND IT WENT TO ZERO IN ABOUT AN HOUR. SO WE CHANGED FUEL PUMP AND IT STARTS FINE AFTER SETTING A COUPLE OF HOURS BUT OVERNITE IT CRANKS A LITTLE BUT NOT AS BAD AS IT WAS. ALSO PULL THE VAC LINE OFF WITH GAUGE ATTATCHED AND PRESSURE INCREASED 8 LBS. THATS HOW I WAS TOLD TO CHECK IT. ALSO PUT IN NEW PLUGS. HOW DO YOU CHECK THE INJECTORS? IM ASSUMING THAT THAT PRESSURE IS LEAKING BACK OFF OVERNITE. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You did check injectors when left pressure gague and they leaked down in an hour. Injectors should ckeck pressure fro hours. You can get them cleaned see if they hold after that.

Why would changing the fuel pump make it better if the injectors are leaking it down? Should it hold pressure all the time? We left the gauge on for about an hour and it went from 41 down to 15. After changing the pump

New pump wll bring up pressure quicker. And injectors leaking down that fast will require more crank time.
