Trying to find out what is causing the grinding noise that seems to be coming from the front end

If it's a grinding noise the sounds like metal on metal, then your brakes are worn and are grinding against the rotors.
If it sounds more like a whine from a jet engine that increases with speed, then it's your wheel bearing.
