1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue Speedometer Broken

The speedometer no longer registers speed. Indicator is all the way at right of display (at 5 O'clock position). Odometer still registers mileage.

Is the transmission still shifting normally? Have you checked the vehicle speed sensor?
