I have a 1990 Olds Delta 88 Royale, 318. Close to 200,000 miles. It will die when slowing down and turning. Always restarts. Seems to only die when driven at least 30 minutes. I have had it to two different mechanics. Both say the cam sensor is bad. One says this is not the problem. The other says it is.
I hate to spend the money (this is an expensive repair) if this is not the problem. Sometimes it will shutter.

I would check the idle air control valve before the cam sensor, without this, when you release the gas pedal the car is gonna die, this will adjust the throttle plate so it doesnt stall otherwise the air get cut off.
