My car is leaking water and I have checked all hoses- could it be the water pump going bad and could someone please tell me where it is exactly located, I have an idea but not sure.

Under the water pump is a weep hole where coolant can leak if the seal or bearing goes bad in the pump. Check that. As far as location, it is on the front of the engine. The fan is attached to it.
