[img:1681a697f7]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/544585_IMG_1389_1.jpg[/img:1681a697f7]Did the 1978 Old Delta 88 Royale come with a Posi-traction option? If not could another year from 75-85 or later olds metric four-link v8 posi-traction rear end work on my vehicle from a different GM model?

If I had some options, then I would call around to juck yards for the various model and year rear axles until I find a complete axle that I could buy and stick under the car.

Thanks,
Brian

You will be hard pressed to find anything in those years from GM with a posi unit. They werent exactly performance oriented in that era.Possibly Camaro or Firebird, beyond that it would be something with police option package,Malibu/Chevelle/Caprice.Have you looked around for a posi unit to install in your existing rear end?
