Engine Cooling problem
1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Engine lights on code reads p0401 insuficent flow. The car overheated two day before. Are the two related? Or just by chance

This code indicates a faulty EGR flow, most likely due to a dirty EGR valve. This would not cause engine overheating nor would overheating cause the EGR valve to fail.
