Electrical problem
1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass

Car starts fine every time. Every few starts, dash gauges all go high, then to zero and trip odometer resets. At Autozone, they connected to the battery and said that the alternator was good but the batter showed to "check connection" as if it were open or maybe a temp deead short. This is an electrical issues. Any idea what?

at this point you need to check all connections from battery to alternator to starter, for corrosion, loose connections etc. it is easy to miss corrosion if it is inside the cable so look really good
