1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

dash light come on and off when they want to. Read somewhere it could be the alternator. Anybody else have this problem and how did you fix it?

Hi:
It could be caused by a bad switch or the body control module (BCM). Have the bcm checked.
