1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass HELP

96 olds cutlass with 3.1 v6 fwd, the belt tensioner went out. So i replaced it, now when i go to pull out i just about have to press the gas pedal all the way down to pull out... But trans shifts smooth, this just happened all of the sudden.. any ideals?? thanks

check the transmission fluid level and top off if need be, also take a look at the tps(throttle position sensor)
