Heater problem
1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 195K miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
THIS IS ON A 1995 CUTLASS CRUISER V6 3.1LTR.
I NEED A DIAGRAM OF THE MOTOR OR SOMETHING I HAVE FOUND THE HOSE WHERE THE THERMOSTAT SHOULD GO AND I AM WONDERING IF IT GOES WHERE THE HOSE CONNCETS TO THE METAL PIECE THAT BOLTS TO THE ENGINE OR WHERE THE METAL PIECE BOLTS TO THE MOTOR AS I WAS TOLD THAT NO OTHER GASKET GOES WITH MY THERMOSTAT. CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE EXACTLY IT GOES AT SO I CAN HAVE HEAT?

yes follow the upper radiator hose to the engine, the piece it connects to is the thermostat housing, it has 2 bolts holding it to the intake manifold. remove the 2 bolts and your thermostat is under there. hope this helps
