When i start my car up, it idles rough but when i step on it, it clears up. But, then when i get into overdrive, it starts running rough, like a miss fire and feels like it hickups when i give it a ton of gas and it does not have enough speed to get up a hill on the high way.

First lets check for vacuum leaks or vacuum hoses that may be disconected
