ok i had a prob wit my ign switch i switched out my sterring colums of a 96 monte carlo that had everything like mine but when i still turn the key my security lite is still on the dash it goes off i turn the key and it comes bac on no cranking i hear clicking but no crank can u tell me sum things that could b up wit it

You need to have the computer reprogramed to accept the different key. The only place that can do that is a dealer.
