1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass door wont close

1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass

i closed the door and the seatbelt got stuck in the door and it caused the latch for the lock on the door to close into an o position and i dont know how to open it to lock my door

If you hold the lever in the open position, you should be able to open the latch.
