Hi:
It could be the IAC, but before you replace it, have the computer scanned at a nationally recognized parts store. Most will do it for free and then you will know if the IAC is bad or something other. That way you won't waste any money.
Have it scanned and let me know what you find. If the check engine light was on, there should be codes stored in the computer.
