1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass fuel emissions

I recently took my car to get smogged and it failed the evap test. The guy told me it was prob the evap hose that goes from the tank to the charcoal canister. Well I replaced the hose and inspected all the fuel hose and lines and nothing appears to be damaged. Why do I keep failing the evap test
