i recently bought a 93 cutlass supreme and the signals stopped working and rarely it would start working and go out the same day and when i press the brakes and try to use a turn signal the direction i try to put the signal to the light will not work on the side i try to use the signal for

Check the turn signal flasher if okay, get the turn/hazard switch assy checked out-

Hi - I took it to Gails Electric (not a gal by the way), in Costa Mesa, CA (about 15 miles south of Disneyland on the 55 Freeway for you out of towners). They are electrical repair experts - they pulled the dash off, traced the problem, it was a cracked wire and flasher both. Had me out of there in about 2 hours.
