1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass supreme and it is not doing so well. When I try to come to a complete stop, it stalls. When I'm driving, the RPM needle will suddenly drop and kick back up causing horrible jerking and it nearly stalls. It will do this for only split seconds, but it does it repeatedly. It's been to 3 different repairs shops since the problem started 2 months ago. 2 of which have told me there was no problem when they took it for a test drive. The last shop replaced the coil pack because they though it resolved the problem. Needles to say, it did not. If it idles for a while, especially in the heat, it will stall. It will start right back up again. No check engine light has come on and it seems to stall more when the brake is pressed. It seems to do a little better if it's been sitting unused for at least a day. I would greatly appreciate any ideas you may have!

Could be the TCC solenoid causing the problem try disconnecting the solenoid and see what happens
