when i start my car i hear a rattle. people say is the bearings in my alternator going out. when driving at a normal speed the noise is gone. but when i slow down or come to a stop sign the noise appears. all of my liights work and no lights have come on my dash. i was thinking could it be my flywheel or tie rod?

a easy way to eliminate alternator is remove the belt and start car and see if the noise goes away.
