I have the basic dash cluster that was smashed an I want to replace it, not hard but the replacement cluster has a tack and mine didn't. Would it work by just plugging it in or would I need to install more hardware? I have the parts car its not hard to get what I need to get a functional tackometer.

It wlll be missing a few wires (original car) compare the wiring harness to see.Might be more trouble than it is worth, all other wires need to match to where they need to be for the cluster to work
