Hi,
You have helped me before with several cars. I hve a 1993 Olds Cutlass Supreme, 3.1 Multiport, 6 cl. that sat unused for about a year. We know it needs a battery at least, but we cannot get it to start with a jump. About 6-8 weeks ago I got it to start and run. When I put it into drive it stalled out and won't start again. We got some help from the local auto parts store. We changed the oil and filter and now the auto parts guy recommends changing the coil, but I seem to find 3. What do you suggest we try. The motor turns over, but slowly.

HI there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would first get the battery re charged and check that the terminals are clean and tight, you want the engine cranking at a normal rate, next i would make sure that you have a good spark and fuel pressure also check the injection pulse with a noid light, finally do a scan for any unresolved fault codes, start here.
