1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass timing

could the timing be so close that it looks like i have TDC but dont since it has coil packs do i still have an ignition control module?

Put the engine no.1 piston on its compression/TDC pull the valve cover where no.1 cylinder and check both valves intake and exhaust for the no. 1 cylinder both should be closed. Now turn crank to align TDC/0.

The computer drives the DIS to fire the coil packs by sensing the CPS signal
