I need to find out how to replace the thermostat on my 1992 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra. I know that it is at the engine end of the top radiator hose but I need to find it from there. I am stuck.

Hi:
At the end of the upper hose it attaches to the thermostat housing. Drain the coolant from the radiator, unclamp the hose from the housing, unbolt the thermostat, and the t-stat is under it. Just reverse the sequence to replace it. NOTE: Pay attention to the direction the t-stat in installed before removing the old one.

If you have other questions, let me know.
