My car cut off abruptly on me two weeks ago. It just jerked and cut off after letting it sit for about 1hr. It started right up and drove fine. The following friday it did the same thing. I drove it for about 50min and it started to shake and it was idling very high. well this time i had to have it towed. Well they cleaned out the throttle body and lubed throttle linkage and replaced the air filter and PCV breather. The car was still hesitating but not as bad and the brake seemed stiff. The following friday it cut off again as i was pulling into the mechanics. They gave me a tune-up and ignition wires and did an inspection on stalling. Well, everything seemed fine but now I again feel as though it is about to cut off at any moment. Even with starting it up it feels as though it's about to cut off but doesn't. Only when i make the 50min trip on fridays. I don't want to keep shelling out money if this can't be fixed Any suggestions?
