Bought this used car 1 week ago with a non working radio. Today I am atempting to find out why. I checked the fuse block and found no fuse in the spot where it is supposed to be. But there is a problem, the fuse will not go into the slot because the plastic slot has a vertical bar preventing the insertion. See picture below. Is there a special fuse that has a cutout for the bar? I have googled special radio fuse and found nothing.

Could the radio fuse be the 10A fuse above this slot even though the little white arrow points to the slot below? That fuse is ok.

What are all the single contact slots for on the fuse block?

Turn the ignition switch On-look for power on those open slots if power is present get a male spade terminal/wire and jump off from there straight to the radio.

Thank you rasmataz I tried that and the clock comes on but not the radio. The same thing happens when I turn on the ignition switch. Looks like I will have to pull the radio to check out the problem.

By jumping straight to the radio you did mean the radio terminal that the little white arrow is pointing at right?
