After running the 2.8 for many mileas the car will stop running, however, it will restart but contines to cut out. Let the car set overnught run it several miles and again it will cut out. The following has been done to the engine. A new crankshaft sensor and a new ignition control module. I also noticed that with a/c on when I turn the wheel left or right the a/c clutch disengages. Can you help?

At any time will it not start? If so you willneed to check for spark and fuel pressure, and injector pulse to see what is missing. It is normal for the a/c to cut out like that, the engine can only take so much load at idle, the a/c isnt necessary, but steering is so it wins.

Upon further testing I have discovered the the car will shut off but immeadiately restart. I also noticed it take a long time to shift into overdrice. Upon accelaration the coming to a stop the car shudders then cuts off immediately restarting I believe it is the torque convertor lock up solenoid?

That is very likely. On the front of the trans (facing radiator) you will see a square 4 wire connector, unplug it and see if it still does it. That is the connector for the TCC (torque converter clutch solenoid)
