1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 167000 miles

My car wants to cut out as i am going down the road. It starts to miss real bad when i am going up hills and wants to stall on me at a stop sign or stop light. I have replaced the mass air flow sensor, and ingition module and it still is giving me trouble.

Have your fuel pressure tested, when was the last complete tune up? all filter?

Subject: fuel pressure
i had the fuel pressure tested and it read 40 i have not changed the spark plugs or wires since i have had the car. i bought it 2 years ago.
It's probably past time!

I say again, after two years with the same plugs and tune up parts, it is PAST time...Go with the BASIC stuff first...This is in response to another PM!
