1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass line from Radiator leaking

On the left side (driver's) of the vehicle there are two lines, one in and one out of the radiator. They are steel lines with an 8 to 12 inch section of rubber hose. The bottom hose is leaking where it attaches to the steel line on the engine side. Is this a transmition cooling line and the fluid leaking would then be transmittion fluid, correct ?

That sounds correct. Is the fluid that is leaking red in color?
