1982 Oldsmobile Cutlass V8 Automatic 52000 miles

WHY WOULD AIR NOT BLOW OUT DEFROST AND MIDDLE VENTS, BUT ONLY ON THE FLOOR. I CAN HEAR THE CLICKING DOOR OPEN AND SHUT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS WORKING, BUT FAINT AIR ONLY COMES OUT, BUT ROARING ON THE FLOOR AREA... ANY IDEAS WHAT TO DO???

I believe you are dealing with a vacuum leak. The vent doors are actuated by vacuum. If the vacuum is weak or leaking, this is what happens.

Check under the dash for leaks or damaged vacuum hoses.
