Not all the time but when i disengage my parking brake and put it in drive. Then the abs light and the parking brake light come on. There is no difference in the way the car drives or no smells or sounds. Sometimes i can drive somewhere and lights will be on and when i get back in a release the brake again it will stay off. I checked the brake fluid and it was fine. All the brakes have been replaced in the last year.

There is a switch that is located on the floor (part of the park brake assembly). Check to make sure it is connected, making contact, and properly adjusted. Chances are it is loose.

Let me know what you find.
