Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Oldsmobile Ciera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Took my car in because cooling fans wouldnt come on after testing was told pcm needed to be replaced. They didnt find any open grounds, fan motors work, coolant sensor, relays and temp sensor had already been replaced. Also transmission started shifting into nuetral so I have a new pcm to install. What I am worried about is that my car doesnt have a 12 pin dlt it only has 3 pins so how and I supposed to get diagnostic codes to make sure everything checks out?

Most pre-96 cars are OBDI PCM's.

You short terminals A and B of ALDL to get codes. SES light will flash codes.
