car is in shop getting looked at again ,starts up good sounds good too, needs tuneup,drives for seconds then shuts off and wont startup,had computer replaced then mec. said gas gage in tank was bad told me to keep gas in it,i did but problem still here this guy has hadcar for 1week still cant find problem does this problem sound familiar

Just for future reference. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Also, check for applicable trouble codes. An intermittent rpm signal can drive you crazy. This message is for you, not your mechanic, I'm sure he has already checked all this.
