Engine Performance problem
2001 Oldsmobile Bravada 6 cyl Automatic 197000 miles

When accellerating from a stoplight /stop sign the engine will stumble like it's flooded, backing off throttle position will stop stumbling an allow normal acceleration to crusing speed. Is a sometimes occurance not always.

Have you checked the catalytic converter? Also, have you ever checked fuel pump pressure?
