1999 Oldsmobile Bravada right rear bearing

How do you replace the bearing?
I believe it is the bearing because of the loud thumping sound in the right rear. The tires were rotated hoping that would solve the problem, but it didn't. Have the car on a ramp but can't get the shaft out.
