I have a 1999 olds bravada , 4.3 L , 103000 miles . I am the second owner . On about the 3rd of January it would crank but not start in the am , checked fuses and relay they were ok , about 4 hours later it started , and was fine the last three weeks . Last night got off work and went home , 5 miles , parked for 30 minutes , then it would not start . Tried everything I knew to no avail . I was told to hit the gas tank and then try to start it . I tried this method and to my suprise it started . Can you tell me what the problem is ? and should I trust driving it with out further repairs ?
