I can't get the gas to go down in the tank when I try to fill up at the gas station. This doesn't happen al the time, just every now and then. I have taken a metal clothes hanger to see if there was a blockage, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. HELP!!

Hi:
That is interesting. The only thing there is the filler tube where you place the pump, and a rubber hose that goes to the tank. When this happens, look under the vehicle where the filler is. Check the rubber hose to make sure it isn't pinched shut.

Sounds like the rollover and anti siphon valve is causing a problem. It's a ball that sits in the inlet of the tank and blocks the fuel fill if the vehicle goes over. There is also a set in the EVAP system. There was a FSB on this a few years ago.
The ball gets stuck and fuel cannot get past it.
