When I Drive my 1997 oldsmobile bravada on the freeway it hads full power and drive very well except when the traffic slow down my truck start jerking real bad and when traffic start moving again no more jerking.Do this mean my transmission needs to be replace with a new transmission.

it sounds like a heat related issue as it heats up in slower traffic and ok when at speed. Make sure it is full of fluid and don't change it then just drive it until it goes.
