Noises problem
1996 Oldsmobile Bravada Four Wheel Drive Automatic 200000 miles

The front wheels are making a grinding noise when I drive. replaced brakes last week thinking it was "brakes grinding" but they were still ok. but I went ahead and replaced the brakes and rotor anyway (both sides) sound is still there, even worse than it was beforehand. My friend looked/checked my brake job, looked fine, could not locate where its grinding at. Then he saw the way my tired are beinf worn...and said it could be my alignment making the noise? Yes my alignment is way off, has been for a while.

Drove it last night 10 miles, and all the sudden it got louder and felt like a tired had fallen off or pulled me to the side...hard to explain, and me sterring wheel seems even more off. It drives ok still...just that noise, seems to get worse when i drive it further.

you need to get it to a shop for a safety inspection. tire rods are severly worn, maybe inner tie rod. you will eventually loose steering, so this is nothing to let go.
