My 94 bravada this summer had a slow shifting 1st gear. Two weeks later I noticed the ing/gau fuse was blown. I changed it and the transmission shifted fine. It kept blowing every few days so I put a 40 amp fuse instead of the 20 amp. Now the fuse isn't not blown but the transmission is not shifting right. Is it something electical or does anyone have an idea what's wrong? Thank you

First, you can cause a fire by placing a higher amp fuse in place of a lower one. As far as the issue, have any warning lights come on? Please keep in mind, you may have caused further damage with the fuse.
