My car got wet from the rain 2 days ago. The windows will not go up, when you push the lock on the driver door the hood and gas door opens up.

Is there a short in the wiring?

It sounds like a short. However, I don't understand the hood opening. It isn't electric.

Check the wiring between the door and the door frame. From opening and closing the door often, sometimes the wiring breaks.

As far as the window, remove the door panel and see if there is power going to the motor when you raise it. If there is, the motor is bad. If there isn't, chances are the switch is the problem.

Let me know what you find.
