2002 Oldsmobile Aurora Need help with computer/cooling fan

2002 Oldsmobile Aurora V8 Automatic

Hi I recently bought a 02 Oldsmobile Aurora v8 and every other day the comp says LOW COOLANT. I dont see anything leaking either? Also have never seen/heard the radiator cooling fans on even after driving in on a hot day? Temp gauge reads normal all the time too?

If the temp doesn't reach a certain point, the fan will not come on. As far as the coolant light, chances are the sensor in the overflow is bad or dirty. It is at the bottom of the resivour. Check it and let me know what you find.
