Where is the crank sensor located

if 4.0L , there are 2 crank sensors on this vehicle, both located on the lower left side of the engine near the oil filter

if 3.5L engine, crank sensor is on the lower right side of engine above the starter

The starter would be on the right side of the engine, while the crank sensor is on the left, but both face the front of the car. Also, be careful with the sensor as they are delicate, and also check the wiring/connector for damage. Sometimes there's nothing wrong with these sensors, but the connector is dirty/corroded, or the wiring is burnt.
